Preparation procedure

  • Pass the tomatoes, pepper, and apple through a meat grinder
  • Grate the carrots
  • Chop the garlic and red pepper finely
  • Put everything into a pot or a deeper pan and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat and cook for 30 minutes
  • Add the garlic and pepper
  • Stir the mixture and cook for another 10–15 minutes until the mixture thickens
  • Transfer the finished mixture into sterilized containers
  • Let the jars rest for several hours on a towel and then you can transfer them to the pantry
