Preparation procedure
- Pass the tomatoes, pepper, and apple through a meat grinder
- Grate the carrots
- Chop the garlic and red pepper finely
- Put everything into a pot or a deeper pan and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat and cook for 30 minutes
- Add the garlic and pepper
- Stir the mixture and cook for another 10–15 minutes until the mixture thickens
- Transfer the finished mixture into sterilized containers
- Let the jars rest for several hours on a towel and then you can transfer them to the pantry
