The koláčky are very tasty and delicious. I baked them last year and they were a big success. Store them in a lidded container, ideally in the refrigerator, or in a cooler room. They really keep for a long time.

Preparation procedure
- Work the sifted flour, Hera, sugar and cream into a dough, wrap it in cling film and place it in the refrigerator for about 1 hour to firm up.
- Before rolling out the dough, let it soften a little, otherwise you won't be able to roll it. On a floured work surface roll the dough into a sheet about 3 mm thick and cut out shapes to taste.
- You can sprinkle the dough with nuts or sugar, or after baking stick them together with marmalade — like when working with classic Linzer dough.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180–190 degrees until lightly browned. It really only takes a few minutes — be sure to watch the koláčky.
- When they're baked, you can dust them with a mixture of powdered and vanilla sugar or ground cinnamon.
