Ingredients

3 eggs
125 g sugar
1 packet of vanilla sugar
125 ml milk
125 ml oil (preferably sunflower)
1 tablespoon cocoa
about 15 tablespoons semi-coarse flour (add according to batter consistency)
1 packet of baking powder
125 g cherries (pitted)

Preparation procedure

Basic batter: In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar until light and foamy. Then pour in the milk and oil and mix again until a smooth mixture forms.
Adding the dry ingredients: Add the cocoa, semi-coarse flour (in portions) and baking powder to the liquid mixture. Stir until you have a smooth, semi-firm batter.
Cherries and baking: Finally, gently fold the cherries into the batter – ideally with a spoon so they don't break apart. Pour the batter into a greased and floured bundt pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 40 minutes. Do not open the oven while baking so the bundt cake can rise nicely.
