Preparation procedure

  • Line the baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients – the flour, both types of sugar and the baking powder. Spread half of the mixture evenly onto the baking sheet.
  • For the filling, mix all the ingredients – the curd, milk and sugar, the egg and the vanilla sugar. The mixture will have a consistency similar to thinner yogurt.
  • Now using a ladle, layer this mixture onto the dry mixture, and add raisins or pieces of fruit.
  • Continue with the remaining dry mixture and on top evenly arrange the butter cut into slices. The butter will melt during baking and spread nicely across the entire surface.
  • If you use raisins, sprinkle them onto the liquid mixture.
  • Bake at 180 degrees. Baking time is about 30-40 minutes.

I found this cake in a magazine under the name Strudel for Lazy Women and it is really fantastic.

Completely simple and all you have to do is pour it onto the baking sheet and put it in the oven.

Minimal dirty dishes and effort, and the result is really excellent.
