Preparation procedure

  • Put the eggs, sugar, milk, oil and vanilla extract into a bowl and beat with a mixer until smooth. In another bowl, mix the flour with the cocoa and baking powder, sift them and gradually work them into the liquid mixture.
  • Line a cake tin with parchment paper and pour the batter into it. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for approximately 45 minutes. After baking, allow the cake base to cool completely.
  • Evenly pour the sweetened coffee over the cooled cake base. Then spread the cherry jam evenly on it, which will add a gentle tartness and juiciness to the dessert.
  • Melt the Milka milk chocolate in a bain-marie and let it cool slightly. Whip the cream to soft peaks and gradually fold in the melted chocolate to create a smooth and glossy cream. Then spread it over the cake base with the jam.
  • Melt the bar of Milka chocolate with butter or milk into a smooth glaze and pour it over the top of the cake. Smooth the surface with a spatula.
  • Place the cake in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours so that the cream and glaze set and the flavors meld.
