Ingredients

Preparation procedure

  • Peel the potatoes, cut them into larger pieces and put them into salted water. Parboil them for about 5 minutes so they soften slightly, then drain.
  • Clean the chicken livers of membranes and any impurities. Briefly blanch them in boiling water for 3–5 minutes and drain. This step ensures a more tender texture and removes any possible bitterness.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Lightly grease a baking dish with oil and spread the potatoes together with the livers in it.
  • In a bowl mix the oil, pressed garlic, marjoram, oregano, ground paprika, salt and pepper. Pour this mixture evenly over everything.
  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes. During baking stir or turn the contents several times so the ingredients brown on all sides.
  • After baking check that the potatoes are soft and the livers are cooked through. Serve immediately.
