Thanks to the chocolate pudding it has a subtle cocoa note and holds its shape nicely. It’s easy to bake and after chilling it’s absolutely divine!

  • Preparation of the base: Whisk the whole eggs with the sugar into a thick, light foam.
  • Bananas: Mash the ripe bananas with a fork and add them to the egg foam.
  • Quark and dry ingredients: Fold in the quark, baby semolina, chocolate pudding powder and baking powder. Mix everything thoroughly until a smooth batter forms.
  • Baking: Pour the mixture into a greased (or parchment-lined) pan and bake in a preheated oven at 190 °C for 50–55 minutes.
  • Cooling: After baking, let the semolina cake cool completely — ideally overnight in the refrigerator.
