Vinegar has been used since ancient times. It is a kind of miraculous liquid that we can use in the kitchen but also in the garden. You can put away aggressive chemicals and use only vinegar instead of them. It is a cheap and natural cure-all.
Against weeds
With its acidity, vinegar makes sure that weeds die out. It is often more effective than store-bought sprays, which are harmful both to us and to our surroundings.
Against slugs
Slugs are the biggest pests in small gardens. Once they appear, they reproduce very quickly and can destroy the entire crop. Dilute vinegar with water in a 1:1 ratio and use a sprayer to spray the slugs and the places where they most often move.
Against ants
Ants do not like vinegar, so if you want to keep them out of the house, spray it on door and window frames. You can also use this in the garden.
Spray preparation
Instead of pest sprays, use a solution of water and vinegar. 20 l of water, ½ – 1 l of 20% vinegar. Spray the areas where you see pests.
Removes rust
Garden tools rust sooner than others. Soak them in pure vinegar. The next day they will be like new.
