7 whole pieces of fresh nettle (including leaves and stem)
1 liter of boiled, cooled water
method:
Steep the nettle in water for 12 hours. In the morning strain it and drink the infusion 3 times daily, 1 cup each time. The infusion is best consumed at room temperature and with lemon juice. Since nettle is a strong diuretic, it can cause significant dehydration, so keep the cure for a maximum of 21 days. This nettle infusion can also be used in a bath if heated and poured into the tub. The bath lasts 20 minutes. It is an excellent aid for skin conditions or rheumatism.
Important notes:
1) Stinging nettle can cause mild stomach irritation in some people.
2) It can trigger an allergic skin rash.
3) Do not use nettle tea in the first trimester of pregnancy; it can stimulate the uterus and cause a miscarriage.
