Clove spice is well known to everyone, but we often forget this spice OUTSIDE the Christmas season and many of us don’t even know the beneficial substances it contains. The reality is that clove can offer a lot of help to our body.
Clove
This spice comes from the Moluccan Islands. Most of us use clove as a spice for Christmas cookies or for mulled wine, but clove has much wider uses.
Disinfection
When we talk about clove, we are speaking not only about an exceptionally distinctive kind of flavor, but also about cleansing with locally desensitizing effects. Its flavor contains an essential oil whose primary component is a compound known as eugenol – this compound has local analgesic effects and is often used in dentistry.
It is often added to cleaning agents; individuals even use it when caught by tooth pain – it is advised to bite a clove on the aching tooth, which is not very tasty, but will most likely provide you with some pain relief.
Alpa and clove
You might wonder what happens when you mix this spice with Alpa.
We have an incredible tip for you that you can rely on if you are struck by an intense cough.
