We cannot avoid the changes related to aging. It is true that we can age slowly, but this process never stops. It is said that at every age we must be able to accept ourselves as we are.
However, this does not mean that you should give up self-care. We recommend that you make great face masks from time to time. We bring you a few tips.
With masks containing appropriately selected ingredients, you can increase the skin’s elasticity and gradually reshape its contours, even getting rid of sagging skin and a dozen wrinkles.
Sour cream:
Use sour cream. Mix a tablespoon of the dairy product with a teaspoon of lemon juice. Apply the mask to the face and leave it on for half an hour. You can even add a few drops of orange or lavender essential oil.
Oatmeal:
To strengthen the epidermal layer, mix a few tablespoons of rolled oats with 100ml of boiling water. Add whipped egg white and liquid honey. Let the mixture sit for 20 minutes, then apply it to the skin and leave it on for half an hour. It is recommended to wash your face with milk after this mask.
Egg white:
Plain egg white increases the skin’s elasticity and guarantees its immediate tightening.
Mix the egg white with 0.5 teaspoon of vitamin E and a few drops of orange or lemon juice.
Massage the mixture into cleansed facial skin, neck and décolleté. When it dries, rinse the face with warm water and apply a moisturizing cream.
Sugar-yolk:
For quick rejuvenation, use the following mask to firm the face oval: beat the yolk with a teaspoon of sugar. Apply the mixture in circular motions to the skin and leave it on for 7 minutes. Rinse with warm water and apply cream.
Banana:
This homemade face cream is suitable for daily use and nourishes the skin with many beneficial substances. Mash half a ripe banana with a fork. Add 2 tablespoons of full-fat heavy cream. Mix until smooth.
Add vitamin E capsules and apply the mask to the face for one hour.
Honey:
To restore the face contour and moisturize the skin, blend 2 tablespoons of liquid honey with whipped cream and half an avocado. Apply the mask for 20 minutes and then rinse it off. After the first application, the skin becomes soft, smooth and supple.
Starch-based:
The benefits of starch are much talked about. It is often used in homemade masks to tighten sagging skin. Mix a tablespoon of starch in 100ml of cold water. Heat 400ml of water, remove it from the heat and then add a tablespoon of sour cream and five times as much carrot juice. Apply for 20 minutes and then rinse off the mask.
It is much more effective to use one mask for a whole week (up to 3 times). This allows its ingredients to accumulate in the proper amount and bring the desired effect. From the next week you can continue applying another homemade mask. Don’t give up; your results will appear a month after using the masks.
