Although it hides up to 83% fat, it is suitable even during weight loss. It contains essential fatty acids that help convert other fats, while also lowering bad cholesterol in the blood.
Of the minerals it provides mainly potassium, calcium, copper and phosphorus. It is a source of natural antioxidants, mainly lutein and beta-carotene, vitamins C and B.

However, roasted and salted almonds are less suitable.

They have the highest protein content of all cereals and a low glycemic index. They contain a suitable ratio of soluble and insoluble fiber. Beta-glucan in oats helps stabilize blood sugar. They are a source of phosphorus, potassium, selenium, manganese and also iron. However, they also contain gluten, which people suffering from celiac disease cannot tolerate. The most nutritious are raw oat flakes, served in combination with milk, fruit and nuts.
