If it happened to you that you repotted an orchid and it’s not doing well, you accidentally damaged it, or it simply hasn’t bloomed for a long – a very long time, try this tip; it hasn’t disappointed me yet.
And I don’t even give my orchids special fertilizers. For me the single greatest miracle for this plant is sugar.

A woman once told me that sugar for an orchid is like an antibiotic for a human. You just need to use it correctly and the orchid will start up again.

What is sugar good for?

  • for wilted plants
  • for plants that you accidentally damaged while handling
  • for plants that haven’t bloomed for a long time
  • for older plants that lack energy

How to do it?

I used this treatment on my orchid that really was ready to be thrown away. I dissolved 1 teaspoon of sugar in a liter of water and immersed the orchid in this bath and let it soak for about 8-9 hours (it is said that it can be left for a whole day).

Then I soaked it for another hour in rested water. That’s all; when I took it out of the water, I put it back in its usual place and immediately noticed that the leaves were fuller and the flowers had lifted.

The next day it already looked much better and gradually fully recovered – it was a real miracle for me.

This is how my orchid looks; it even produced the most buds since I’ve had it at home!

For damaged or wilted orchids try helping them with a bath in a sugar solution prepared from one teaspoon of sugar and one liter of water. Then place it in lukewarm water for another hour. That’s all!
