Not everything that tastes good is healthy. In our diet we find a number of foods that are truly harmful to our health.

We live in a time when packaging sells, so we are more often interested in how food looks than in its quality and effect on our health.
One of the most dangerous foods that we eat, or that certainly each of us has eaten, is sausages.

This is not just another unhealthy food.

Consumption of sausages increases the likelihood of cancer by up to 67%!

This is a really huge number. Another statistic that can scare us is that consuming just one sausage a day increases the probability of rectal cancer by up to 21%.

We all probably know very well how sausages are made.

The main ingredient should be ground meat, however the share of quality meat in sausages is very small. Cartilage, bones, skin and other parts that are not used for other purposes are ground into the sausages.

To give the sausage the right taste and color, various chemical substances are added to it as well as colorants derived from parts of beetles, or even ammonia.
