The winter season brings flu or a cold. Today we will show two simple recipes for how we can make an effective cough syrup.
Necessary ingredients:
Water 250 ml, sugar 8 tbsp, garlic 4 cloves, 1 onion, 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger (better omit for children – it’s hot), thyme 1 tbsp, marjoram 1 tbsp, lemon 1 tbsp, honey 1 tbsp, lemon (or any other, good) tea – steep 1 teabag, vanilla sugar 1 sachet (optional, it’s rather for aroma).
Preparation:
We mix everything together (chop the garlic and onion) and boil for about 10 minutes, strain, after cooling add honey and sip during the day.
The second recipe, a bit simpler, but also very effective.
Necessary ingredients:
6 tbsp honey, 3 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp Alpa.
Preparation:
In a preserving jar or a cup we mix the lemon juice, honey and Alpa. Then shake or stir the mixture thoroughly. The syrup is taken several times a day and is suitable both for a dry irritating cough and for suppressing a wet cough.
