Preparation procedure

  • Wash the zucchini and peel if necessary. If the zucchini is older, remove the seeds as well. If it's young, just wash and coarsely grate it.
  • Let the grated zucchini sit for a while so it releases its juice, then squeeze it out. You can save the juice for a smoothie or use it for cooking.
  • Add the grated cheese, chopped chives, salt, pepper, eggs, chopped dill, flour and baking powder to the grated zucchini. Mix everything well until you have a firm mixture.
  • On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, form mounds of dough and shape them into patties. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
  • If you prefer the patties fried in a pan, heat a little oil in a pan and fry the patties on both sides until golden.
  • Mix the sour cream with chopped dill, crushed garlic, salt and pepper to taste. Grate the cucumber and add it to the mixture.
  • Serve the patties with the prepared dressing. They go great with fresh vegetables or chicken.
