This recipe for pork cutlets in beer sauce is an ideal choice for a family lunch. Thanks to the beer sauce, the cutlets are juicy, tender and full of flavor. It only takes a few ingredients and patience while cooking.

Preparation procedure

  • Preparation of the cutlets: Salt and pepper the cutlets and coat them in all-purpose flour. Heat oil in a pan and brown the cutlets on both sides until golden. Then remove and set aside.
  • Preparation of the sauce base: Add a little oil to the pan and the finely chopped onion. Sauté it until translucent over low heat. Add chopped garlic and a little water so the onion softens. Add sweet paprika, mustard and beer.
  • Cooking the sauce: Once the mixture begins to boil, pour in 200 ml of water and add dried spices and black pepper. After it comes to a boil again, add another 200 ml of water and place the fried cutlets back into the pan.
  • Simmering: Simmer over low heat for about 1 hour, until the meat is tender. Stir occasionally and watch to prevent the flour from burning. Finally season with salt and pepper and add chopped parsley leaves.
