Preparation procedure

  • Base preparation Crush the biscuits finely – ideally in a blender or using a bag and rolling pin. Mix with the melted butter and press the resulting mixture into a cake pan with a diameter of 20–22 cm. Smooth the surface and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  • Cream preparation Whip the cream until stiff (with stabilizer the cream will be firmer). In another bowl, beat Salko with the quark and vanilla sugar until smooth. Finally, gently fold in the whipped cream – ideally with a spatula to preserve a fluffy consistency.
  • Assembling the cake Spread the prepared cream evenly over the chilled biscuit base. Smooth the surface and refrigerate the cake for at least 4 hours, ideally overnight.
  • Serving and decoration Before serving, sprinkle the cake with grated chocolate, cocoa, or decorate with fresh fruit. Cut with a sharp knife and serve chilled.

Total preparation time: 25 minutes + 4 hours chilling
