  • Preparing the batter: In a large bowl, mix the semi-coarse flour, cocoa, kefir, sugar, oil, baking soda and vanilla sugar. Beat everything thoroughly with an electric mixer until a smooth, semi-liquid batter forms. The batter is moist thanks to the kefir and does not require eggs.
  • Baking: Pour the finished batter into a baking pan lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 170 °C for about 30 minutes. Check doneness with the classic skewer test – if it comes out dry, the cake is done.
