  • In a small saucepan bring the milk to a boil and melt the margarine in it. Once the mixture comes together, add the flour and, stirring constantly, form a smooth dough.
  • Let the mixture „brown“ slightly – it will thicken and pull away from the sides of the pan. Remove from the heat and let cool.
  • Into the cooled mixture, beat in the eggs one by one, ideally by hand with a whisk or using a mixer. A flexible, sticky dough will form.
  • Fill the dough into a piping bag fitted with a star tip and shape the doughnuts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. You can also use two spoons.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 20–25 minutes. Do not open the oven during baking so the doughnuts don't collapse!
  • Preparing the cream Mix the cream powder with milk according to the instructions on the package. You will get a smooth, creamy filling without the need to cook. Cut the cooled doughnuts open and fill with the prepared cream. Finally, decorate with whipped cream, optionally dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with melted chocolate.
