Preparation procedure

  • Preparation of the batter: In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Add the oil and milk, mix well. Stir in the flour with the baking powder and divide the resulting batter into two halves. Into one of them, stir in the cocoa and Granko.
  • Baking: On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, pour the light batter first, then evenly pour over the dark cocoa batter. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 °C for approximately 20 minutes. Let cool completely.
  • Quark cream: From the milk, sugar and pudding mixes cook a thick pudding. Add the butter to the warm pudding and beat thoroughly until smooth. Finally fold in the quark and rum to taste. Spread the cream over the cooled crust.
  • Topping: Melt the chocolate in a water bath and mix with the cold sour cream. Mix well and spread over the cream. You can also decorate with the remaining cream in the form of decorative patterns.
  • Chilling: Let the cake rest in the refrigerator for at least 3–4 hours, ideally overnight, so the flavors meld beautifully.
