Preparation procedure

  • As a first step, prepare the batter. Separate 4 yolks from the whites and set them aside for a moment. Mix the granulated and vanilla sugar with the 4 yolks, add the lukewarm water and the oil, and beat into a foam.
  • Next add the all-purpose flour and baking powder. Mix everything thoroughly. Whip the remaining egg whites into a meringue and fold the meringue into the remaining batter.
  • Pour the batter into a greased cake pan with a diameter of 26 cm. Bake for 35 minutes at 180°C, but adjust according to your own oven.
  • While the batter is baking, make the jam — sieved raspberries. Put the raspberries with sugar and a little water into a larger pot and bring to a boil. The sugar is there to thicken it and to prevent the raspberries from being sour. Cook for about an hour; the raspberries must be well broken down.
  • Then pour the raspberries into a sieve and pass them through. The resulting mass should be thicker. If it is not, help it with a little Solamyl and let it cool.
  • Finally prepare the filling. Whip the cream thoroughly and mix it with the mascarpone. Add sugar to taste and a little vanilla extract for aroma.

For vícepodlažní cake, you will have to make two batters.
