Preparation procedure

  • Preparing the base Crush the cookies into a fine crumb. Melt the butter (or margarine) and mix it with the ground cookies and milk until a moist, cohesive mixture forms. Press the mixture evenly into a round pan (diameter approx. 24 cm) and chill in the refrigerator to set.
  • Preparing the cream Mix the milk, sugar and pudding powder and cook a classic vanilla pudding. Let it cool to room temperature, stirring occasionally to prevent a skin from forming. Meanwhile, whip the whipping cream and then gently fold it into the cooled pudding. Spread the cream evenly over the chilled cookie base.
  • Decoration and finishing Melt the white chocolate with the cream in a double boiler. Pour over the pudding layer and spread evenly. Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, ideally overnight.
  • Serving Cut the no-bake pudding cake into neat slices and optionally garnish with grated chocolate or fruit.
