Ingredients

1 can of pineapple (including the juice)
500 g sour cream
250 g soft quark (curd cheese)
100 g powdered sugar
2 packets of vanilla sugar
200 ml whipping cream
1 packet of gelatin or cream stabilizer
200 g sponge biscuits

Preparation procedure

Cut the pineapple into small pieces and set the juice from the can aside.
In a bowl, mix the sour cream, quark, powdered and vanilla sugar until a smooth cream forms.
Whip the whipping cream until stiff and gently fold it into the cream mixture.
Prepare the gelatin or stabilizer according to the instructions on the package and stir it into the cream together with the chopped pineapple.
Arrange a layer of sponge biscuits on the bottom of a pan (approx. 24 × 24 cm) and lightly drizzle them with pineapple juice. Spread half of the cream, add a second layer of biscuits and the remaining cream.
