Preparation procedure
- Preparing the batter: Beat the eggs with the powdered sugar and add the melted butter. Gradually stir in the milk, flour and baking powder into the mixture and beat until smooth.
- Baking: Spread the batter evenly onto the prepared baking tray and sprinkle it with the coconut and sugar mixture. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 °C for approximately 25 minutes, until the cake turns golden.
- Finishing the cake: While still hot, pour the whipping cream over the cake; it will soak in and add moistness. Sprinkle the surface of the cake with coconut and, if desired, lightly dust with powdered sugar to taste.
