Preparation procedure

  • We rinse the picked dandelion flowers and put them into a container.
  • Add sorbic acid and citric acid.
  • Pour in three liters of water.
  • Cover and let steep for 3 days.
  • Strain through a fine sieve, add 1.5 kg sugar and stir until the sugar dissolves.
  • Make a test glass, taste, and add more citric acid if needed.
  • Fill into bottles.

The syrup is a bit thin but excellent.
