Preparation procedure

We coarsely grate 1 onion, sauté it in oil until translucent. Then we add the grated kohlrabi, salt ,pepper and add a little broth or water. We simmer until soft, then pour in more broth. We thicken with plain flour mixed in water. Boil through and add a little cream. Blend, sweeten/acidify with vinegar to taste. It should be sweet-and-sour. For garnish, fry pieces of bacon.
