Preparation procedure

  • Dough preparation: Whisk the eggs with the sugar until thick and foamy. Add the milk, flour, cocoa, baking powder and vanilla sugar. Mix everything into a smooth batter. Pour into a greased and floured baking pan, gently tap the pan on the table and bake at 170 °C for about 25–30 minutes.
  • Soaking and preparation of the whipped cream: After baking, poke the cake with a skewer and evenly pour 200 ml of milk over it. Prepare the whipped cream according to the instructions and let it set in the refrigerator.
  • Cream: Mix the milk, water, sugar, flour and cocoa and cook into a thick cream. Let it cool slightly.
  • Assembling the cake: Spread the whipped cream over the soaked cake, arrange banana slices on top, then spread the cooked cream.
  • Glaze: Melt the chocolate with Cera in a water bath and pour evenly over the surface of the cake.
  • Chilling: Let the cake cool thoroughly and then place it in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.
