Try a quick and simple dessert that looks like a masterpiece. This delicious cookie cake with delicate vanilla cream and a two-colored topping will instantly become the hit of any table. No-bake dessert full of creamy flavor is ideal for any occasion.

Preparation procedure

  • Preparation of the pudding cream: In a bowl mix 3/4 glass of milk, the egg yolks, sugar, flour and pudding powder. Whisk the mixture until smooth. Bring the remaining milk to a boil, pour in the prepared mixture and, stirring constantly, cook a thick pudding. Let it cool to room temperature. Meanwhile, whip the softened butter into a foam and gradually beat in the cooled pudding.
  • Assembling the dessert: Line the bottom of the baking pan with baking paper and lay a layer of cocoa cookies. Spread half of the prepared cream and distribute it evenly. Place the second layer of cookies and spread the remaining cream. Finally, arrange the round cookies vertically on the surface of the dessert and place the cake in the refrigerator.
  • Preparing the topping: In a saucepan heat the butter, sugar and water, bring to a boil and stir. Remove from the heat and let the mixture cool slightly. Then add the powdered milk and mix thoroughly until smooth. Divide the mixture into two halves – add cocoa to one and mix well.
  • Finishing the dessert: Pour the light and dark topping alternately over the surface of the dessert to create a marble effect. Put the finished dessert in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow the topping to set.
  • Serving: After it has set, you can cut and serve the dessert.
