  • Preparation of the puff pastry Preheat the oven to 200 °C (fan 180 °C). Divide the puff pastry into two equally sized sheets suitable for baking sheets (e.g. 30×40 cm). Leave the first sheet whole and prick it with a fork, cut the second sheet into squares (approx. 5×5 cm) and prick again. Place both trays in the oven and bake for 10–15 minutes until golden. After baking, let cool.
  • Pudding cream In cold milk whisk together the pudding powders and granulated sugar. Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes, until the cream thickens. Remove from the heat, whisk in the egg yolks and stir until the pudding has cooled to almost room temperature. Beat the butter until fluffy and gradually beat in the cooled pudding. Put the finished cream to chill in the refrigerator.
  • Whipped cream layer Whip the cream with the vanilla sugars and stabilizers into stiff whipped cream.
  • Assembling the kremeš On the first (untrimmed) sheet, lightly dusted with powdered sugar, spread the cooled pudding cream and smooth. Top with a layer of whipped cream. Arrange the baked squares from the second sheet so that the individual slices easily hold their shape. Lightly dust the entire surface with powdered sugar and let the cream and whipped cream set slightly (10–15 min).
  • Cutting and serving Using a sharp knife, cut the slices into cubes (e.g. 4×6 pieces per tray, total 24 slices). Serve immediately.
