- Prepare the ingredients. Blend the smooth and lumpy quark with a hand blender, add 4 tablespoons of plain yogurt and the vanilla pudding.
- When the mixture is well whipped, gradually add one egg at a time and thoroughly beat after each. (You can add flavoring or a sweetener if desired)
- Divide the resulting mixture into 2 parts (one larger, the other smaller) and add 2 tablespoons of cocoa to the smaller one.
- Prepare a round baking pan with a diameter of 18 cm and line it with paper.
- Start layering the batters. Layer the batters alternately into the center of the pan. Start with the white and continue until both batters are used up. Top with fruit to taste and put into a preheated oven.
- First bake at 175 degrees for about 20 minutes. After the time has passed, reduce the temperature to 150 degrees and bake for another 30 minutes.
- Remove the baked cake and let it cool completely. Store in the refrigerator.
