  • Mix the chestnut purée, ground or crushed biscuits, sugar, rum and milk. Mix well. Press the mixture into the bottom of a cake pan.
  • Cook the pudding in the classic way. That means you start by boiling the milk with the sugar and then add the milk in which you have dissolved the pudding powder. As soon as the pudding is cooked, immediately add the butter to it. Once everything has cooled, it's time to simply assemble the cake.
  • Spread one half of the pudding cream over the biscuit base. Arrange the ladyfingers on this layer. Spread the other half of the pudding over them.
  • Whip the whipping cream and spread it over the very top of the cake. Let the cake cool overnight.
