Preparation procedure

  • Nut filling: In a bowl, mix the ground walnuts with the powdered sugar until a uniform crumbly mixture forms. Before use, lightly moisten the mixture with oil.
  • Preparing the starter and dough: Crumble the yeast into a little lukewarm milk, add a pinch of sugar and let the starter "rise" (approx. 10 min). In a large bowl, combine the flour, Palmarín, vanilla and powdered sugar, egg yolks and the risen starter. Work into a smooth dough, divide it into five portions.
  • Layering: Roll each portion of dough to the size of the baking sheet (25 × 35 cm) lined with baking paper. Spread a thin layer of jam on the first sheet, sprinkle with the nut filling and drizzle with oil. Cover with the second sheet and repeat the process up to the last layer, which you should prick with a fork before baking.
  • Baking: Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (fan 160 °C) for 25–30 min, until the dough turns golden. After baking, let the SLICES cool for at least 1 hour.
  • Chocolate glaze: In a water bath, melt the Cera with the dark chocolate. Pour the hot glaze evenly over the surface of the cake. Finally, use a paper piping bag to create a decoration from the white chocolate.
  • Finishing: Let the glaze set (approx. 30 min). Cut the slices into 20–24 portions with a sharp knife.
