Preparation procedure

  • Dough preparation: In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, milk, oil, eggs, vanilla sugar and baking powder. Beat until smooth. Then divide the batter into two parts – 2/3 will remain light and add the cocoa to 1/3.
  • Baking the batter: Pour the light batter onto a greased and floured baking sheet, spread evenly. Carefully pour the dark batter on top and gently swirl with a spatula to create a marbled pattern.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes. Let cool.
  • Cream preparation: From the milk and coconut pudding, cook a thick pudding, let it cool. Whip the butter into a foam with powdered sugar to taste. Then add the cooled pudding and mix well. Finally add the sour cream and combine everything thoroughly.
  • Preparation of the chocolate glaze: Melt the dark chocolate and oil in a water bath and stir until smooth.
  • Finishing the cake: Spread the cream evenly over the cooled base, smooth. Pour the chocolate glaze on top and let it set in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
