Preparation procedure

  • Mix the egg whites with salt and beat, then add the sugar, yolks, flour, baking powder and cocoa
  • Line a baking tray (28 x 38 cm) with paper and pour in the batter
  • Bake at 180 ° C for 15 minutes
  • Add the coconut meringue and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes
  • Coconut cream: whip the egg whites into a foam, add the sugar and mix thoroughly, then add the coconut.
  • Preparing the cream: mix the yolks with the sugar, add the starch dissolved in cold milk
  • Cook over the heat until it thickens, then remove from the heat and add the vanilla extract to the mixture
  • Cover the mixture with plastic wrap and let it cool
  • Add the chopped pineapple to the mixture
  • Spread the finished cream over the cooled cake
  • Decorate with grated chocolate and let set for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator
