- Preparing the beets: Wash, peel, and cook the beets. Alternatively, you can prepare them in the microwave: on maximum power cook the beet for 12-15 minutes, then let it stand for another 15 minutes in the closed microwave. This way the beet preserves most of its vitamins.
- Assembling the salad: Dice the cooked beets and mix them in a bowl with the cheese. Add the corn, chopped herbs (parsley or dill) and stir. You can also add garlic to taste. Finally add the sour cream and salt the salad to taste.
