400 g plain flour
1 block of butter (approx. 250 g), cold and cut into cubes
1 egg
1 package of whipping cream (250 ml)

Preparation procedure

Dough preparation Into a bowl sift the plain flour. Add the chopped cold butter and work it together with the flour using your fingers into a crumbly mixture. Stir in the egg and the whipping cream until a smooth, non-sticky dough forms.
Resting the dough Wrap the finished dough in plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator overnight (at least 8–12 hours). A long rest will ensure a tender texture and better workability.
