Ingredients

Preparation procedure

  • Dough preparation: Beat the egg with the sugar and a pinch of salt. Add the oil and mix well. Gradually work in the flour, starch and baking powder. Work into a soft, non-sticky and pliable dough.
  • Shaping the cookies: Roll the dough into a sheet about 0.5 cm thick. Use a glass to cut out circles. Put a teaspoon of filling in the center of each circle. Join the opposite sides of the dough only in the middle, leaving the filling partially exposed.
  • Filling: Choose a filling to taste – for example, apple filling is excellent: peeled grated apples mixed with a little sugar, stewed in the microwave for about 5 minutes at 750 W (stir halfway through).
  • Baking: Arrange the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake at 180 °C for about 15 minutes, until they turn pink. Let them cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar.
