- Cooking the spaghetti: Cook the spaghetti in salted water according to the instructions on the package.
- Preparing the sauce: Melt the butter in a pan and sauté the chopped ham in it (if using) until golden. Pour in the cream and add crumbled or chopped Niva. Stir until the sauce thickens. At the end of cooking add pressed or finely chopped garlic and season with white pepper and salt. If you like spicier food, also add 1/2 a hot chili pepper.
