Cabbage leaves are considered a kind of biological equivalent of a magnet because they can draw various illnesses out of the body.

They are therefore not only an excellent and healthy food for preparing meals, but also an effective means of treating many health problems.

What cabbage leaf compresses can cure

Folk medicine experience says that you can apply cabbage leaves for the following conditions.

Thyroid diseases

The thyroid gland is extremely important because it produces hormones necessary for growth, proper metabolism, the correct functioning of organs, and digestion.

To heal your thyroid and restore its proper function, apply cabbage leaves to your neck and throat during the night, that is, to the places where it is located.

Secure the leaves with a rubber band or bandage. In the morning you can remove them from the throat. Repeat this every night until symptoms improve.

Headaches

When you are plagued by unbearable headaches, you may have some problems with your eyes. The cause may also be fatigue, exhaustion, or excessive stress.

Therefore, attach cabbage leaves to your temples and the top of your head. Fasten them with some kind of cap, whether a classic winter hat or a shower cap.

By morning the pain should be gone. If you suffer from migraines, do this more regularly.

Pain while breastfeeding

If you are currently breastfeeding and it is causing you breast pain, place cabbage leaves in your bra at night.

This should reliably eliminate the pain. You can apply the leaves at night or during the day.

Stomach, leg or back pain

Similarly to the previous examples, cabbage leaves will also help with any other types of pain, whether it’s stomach, back or leg pain.

Simply apply a few cabbage leaves to the affected areas of the body in the evening, secure them with a rubber band, or put them inside socks or stockings, and leave them on until morning.

The treatment should work after the first use. However, if the pains are chronic, a longer-term application of cabbage compresses may be necessary.
