If you tend to shop at Lidl more often, pay attention. The retail chain is withdrawing from the shelves a product that is missing in almost no household. It announced this on its official page.

If you bought it, you can return it to any store. You will be refunded even without proof of purchase.

The retail chain also warns that people suffering from intolerance to sulfite may experience adverse effects after consuming the coconut in question. Generally, however, the product should not have a negative impact on the customer’s health.

,, Lidl Czech Republic informs about the withdrawal of the product ,, Belbake “Grated coconut, 200g, best before date: 21.11.2019, batch 34188. The product may contain the preservative sulfur dioxide, which is not declared on the product,” it states in the notice to customers.

If you purchased the mentioned product, you can bring it to any store and you will be refunded, even without presenting the receipt.
