How to make a mosquito trap?
This mosquito trap will attract them more than your blood. Just place it in several spots, for example near the balcony, or even in a room. Believe that mosquitoes certainly won’t be able to resist this “treat,” but they won’t get out. A trap made of sugar or honey and yeast is effective because carbon dioxide and heat are released from it through fermentation, which attracts mosquitoes.
We will need:
3 dl of water – 1 cup
¼ cup of brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon of dried yeast (can also be fresh)
a transparent two-liter PET bottle
How to do it:
Cut the bottle in half. Put the brown sugar into hot water and stir until dissolved. Let the sweet solution cool and then pour it into the bottom part of the bottle. Add the yeast, which you don’t need to stir. The yeast produces carbon dioxide, which is emitted and attracts mosquitoes. Insert the top half of the bottle upside down into the bottom part of the bottle.
