I tried everything on the old oven at the cottage, but I couldn’t get rid of the burnt-on stains. After last season, when I found the oven in that condition I thought I wouldn’t be able to fix it, but fortunately it worked out and I owe it to this simple method.
Store-bought cleaners and even baking soda or vinegar alone weren’t enough
It only worked thanks to this method and I recommend it to anyone who has this problem. Definitely try it, you won’t regret it. The trick is that after you moisten the oven with the solution, you must let it heat up thoroughly – the warm air will do all the work for you. Then you just take a cloth and the dirt comes off in one swipe.
How to proceed?
You need the classic three ingredients – baking soda, vinegar and water.
Pour the baking soda into the water and add the vinegar, mix into a uniform mixture similar in consistency to a paste and apply to the burnt-on spots.
Put the rest of the mixture in a suitable bowl into the oven and set the temperature to 100 degrees. Let it heat for 45 minutes and then just wipe it off lightly. That’s it, the dirt is gone in one swipe, without effort and without expensive chemicals.
