In the near future we can expect a major innovation in the field of dental orthodontics. Thanks to stem cells scientists are able to grow a new natural tooth. Scientists have discovered a way to regenerate the pulp, the periodontal tissue and the root, which will begin to grow again.

New teeth

It was already shown several years ago that somatic stem cells are present in the tissues of human teeth. There are many of these cells, but none is ideal for growing a new tooth of one’s own.

Stem cells

They can help many people around the world who suffer from periodontitis.
Instead of unpleasant and very painful tooth drilling and fitting a filling, dentists will fill the space with harvested stem cells and these will ensure that the tooth heals completely on its own.
Thanks to this discovery it is possible that in the near future artificial implants and metal crowns will disappear from dental clinics and subsequently from everyone’s mouths.

Scientific research

Scientists have already practiced this procedure in large animals and the test results are successful.
This is very good news for all of us, because almost 30% of people over the age of 70 replace their own teeth with an artificial replacement, with which they are not satisfied and do not feel well.
Moreover, this practice is much cheaper than expensive crowns and implants.

Are you also happy that scientists have come up with such a revolutionary thing? Will you go to your dentist more willingly thanks to this scientific procedure?
