My neighbor came to visit me once late last spring for a coffee and we sat down near our roses. It wasn’t a good idea, because small aphids from the roses were everywhere and were slowly about to devour us too. Then she advised me a great thing against these terrible pests and already after the first application the number of aphids was reduced by about 3/4. Gradually I wiped them out completely and because this idea worked great for me, I recommend it to you as well. Ludmila (the neighbor) will surely also be glad that the idea helps you too. What’s more, this spray even saved my tomatoes. Finally help without chemicals.

Miracle oil against sap-sucking and chewing pests

For all sap-sucking and chewing pests the best is garlic oil:

  • Chop twenty cloves of garlic
  • Pour half a liter of vegetable oil over them
  • Let the solution stand in a warm place for one to two days
  • Then strain it
  • Mix approximately 50ml of the garlic oil with 10ml of liquid soap and 950ml of water
  • Pour the prepared suspension into a sprayer
  • Spray the plants, shaking occasionally, until the leaves are wet

Garlic oil will also help against fungal diseases.

Water-based garlic spray

Garlic is an excellent fighter against downy mildew, aphids, mites and carrot blight. Mix 75g of crushed garlic with 10 liters of water. Let it steep for 24 hours. Spray the undiluted infusion directly onto the leaves or soil. It’s also good to add liquid soap to the resulting infusion so that it adheres better to the plants.

A spray made from chili peppers acts similarly (I haven’t tested that one, but my neighbor has).

Blend about half a cup of small hot peppers with two cups of water.

When spraying, however, be careful with your eyes and skin, because the solution is very strong.
