This trick comes from a woman whose husband is a washing-machine repairman. The real proof that this trick really works is that the washing machine they have at home has been serving them for 20 years and still washes perfectly. The machine contains no mold, limescale, or any odor. The laundry still smells lovely.
Washing machine
Many people talk about vinegar as a perfect helper for cleaning the washing machine, but this trick gives even much better results. You only need to use this trick once every 2-3 months. That makes this trick perfect, because we don’t have to think about cleaning very often.
Limescale
If you need to rid your washing machine of unwelcome limescale, the best helper is citric acid. Add 100 – 200 grams of citric acid to the machine and run it empty at 60 degrees. The limescale will disappear from the entire machine.
Detergent dispenser
The dispenser becomes very clogged over time and full of detergent residue. Over time, mold may even develop there.
Getting rid of this problem is easy. Just remove the dispenser from the machine and soak it in water. Then soak it in water with citric acid and then clean the dispenser with a sponge.
Seal
To clean the dirt, simply mix 1 tablespoon of citric acid with 0.5 liter of water. Dip a cloth into this mixture and use the cloth to clean the area behind the seal. Even the smallest mold spores will be destroyed.
