Growing cucumbers also requires proper fertilization, protection against diseases and growth stimulation. Do you want to know how little is enough for the plants to grow well and yield abundantly?
One of the best organic fertilizers for cucumbers is manure
We need:
- chicken manure
- water
Procedure:
- Place the manure in a plastic container and fill it to about half.
- Add water and stir. The ratio of manure to water should be 1:1 (1.5).
- Let it steep for 5–7 days with regular stirring (shorten the interval if you have little time and urgently need to fertilize the cucumbers).
- Then dilute the chicken manure solution with water at a ratio of 1:20 or 1:25. Add about 400–500 ml to 10 liters of water. Stir the concentrate well before diluting.
- Fertilizing must be done on moist soil, i.e., the soil should be watered before this fertilization.
- Bush cucumbers can be fertilized this way throughout the season.
Manure is a very valuable organic fertilizer and its composition is similar to that of synthetic mineral fertilizers.
Unlike them, however, it is 100% natural.
We wish you a bountiful harvest!
