We all know how healthy and tasty ripe walnuts are. Few, however, know what amazing properties walnuts have when they are green, that is, right in this period – June / July. Green walnuts and the leaves and young walnut leaves have long been used to make a variety of products for beauty and health. We’ll advise you how best to use them and what they can actually do.
Green walnuts and health
Green walnuts are not only a real delicacy, but they are also exceptionally healthy. They contain a large amount of vitamin C, strengthen immunity and detoxify. They help against fatigue and depression, detoxify the body, strengthen the liver and stomach, cleanse the blood and the lining of the esophagus, and also support the elimination of heavy metals. They also work excellently against headaches and menstrual problems. Oil from dried green walnuts, in turn, strengthens hair and reduces dandruff. Jam made from green walnuts, on the other hand, revitalizes and refreshes tired skin.
But it’s good to consume green walnuts not only for their health-beneficial properties but also for culinary experiences: they are the perfect side dish to meat, as an ingredient in vegetable salads, and they are also excellent in fruit salads.
