Maintain hygiene
A very important point of prevention is frequent and thorough hand washing. You should wash your hands under running water for at least 20 seconds and, of course, with soap. IF you do not have soap available for some reason, you can use a disinfectant that contains at least 60 percent alcohol. You should wash your hands before every meal, and if you have a runny nose or cough, after every sneeze.
Also try to keep your distance from sick people. According to proper prevention guidelines you should keep a distance of at least one meter from a sick person who is coughing or sneezing. A sick person releases small droplets from the mouth or nose when sneezing and coughing, which MAY contain the virus, and if you are not at a sufficient distance you may inhale the droplets. So if that person carries the feared coronavirus, you can get it too.
Also try to avoid touching risk areas on your own body. Your hands touch many places where viruses often occur. IF one of them gets on your hands and you touch your eyes, nose or mouth, you will allow the virus to enter your body.
Also observe thorough respiratory hygiene.
Do not cover your mouth and nose with your hands, but with a bent elbow, and if you use a tissue, dispose of it immediately after one use. If you follow this simple rule, you can protect your loved ones and the people around you from colds, the flu, and also the coronavirus COVID-19.
